Canvas, a web-based platform for managing calendars, course materials, and communications, is used throughout the program. It is a very useful learning management system to help you successfully study in the program. Many Temple University faculty use Canvas to distribute course materials and to conduct a variety of activities.

TUportal offers students a single sign-on gateway to all Temple's online services—including Temple email (TUmail). You will receive instructions on how to activate TUportal by email once you have paid the Enrollment Deposit. If you don’t receive this notification, please contact tujhelp@tuj.temple.edu with your name and Student ID #.

The non-matriculated status allows a new student to become familiar with the university—the faculty, the other students, and the curriculum—before deciding to pursue a degree. If you wish to start taking courses as a non-matriculated student, new students should submit the New Student Form first.
