Fig. 7 indicates that Ar_GA reduces 32.1%, 48.4%, and 50.1% training time of different DNN models on average, compared with Hanayo, GPipe, and BPipe, respectively. For GPT-2 and BERT, Ar_B&B has 8.8% shorter training time than Ar_GA, while 45.8% longer time than Ar_GA for VGG19 and ResNet152.
