GREENVILLE, N.C. – Temple men's cross country team claimed its first team victory of the season as both the men's and women's squads ran the Pirate Invitational hosted by East Carolina. The men finished with 43 points to take the win, while the women put up 100 points for a fifth-place mark.

The Owls improved to 3-6 in the American Athletic Conference and 11-12 overall with a 25-15, 25-22, 25-20 victory over the Roadrunners who now drop to 1-8 in the conference and a 7-15 overall.
