Jurkat (Clone E6 –1, TIB-152TM) cells were purchased from ATCC and cultured in Roswell Park Memorial Institute (RPMI) medium containing 10% FBS and gentamicin (10 μg/ml) (Sigma-Aldrich, St. Louis, MO). PBMCs were isolated from leukopaks by gradient centrifugation on Ficoll-Paque for 30 minutes at 600 g.
