Gergo has coached three frosh/novice fours to gold medals at the Dad Vail Regatta and one gold medal at the IRA Regatta. In 2003, Gergo guided the novice eight to third place finishes at the Dad Vail and Murphy Cup Regattas, as well as a fourth place finish at the Frostbite Regatta and a second place finish at the Braxton Regatta.
