Joe Brown (1977) - Hall of Fame - Temple

One of Temple's finest boxers, Joe Brown competed in 1927, 1928 and 1929 and earned letters each season. He was captain of the 1928 team. He boxed both as a light heavyweight and heavyweight although he never weighed more than 175 pounds. He lost only two bouts during his Temple career and was undefeated in 1929.

A member of the 1952 United States Olympic Team, Robert Stout is one of the greatest gymnasts in Temple history. He won numerous championships while competing for the Owls. He captured NCAA championships in floor exercise and on horizontal bar.
