Amanda earned her B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Social Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University, and her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Temple. Her research focuses on the motivation and identity of high-achieving students, with emphasis on how students make meaning of being “smart” and subsequent emotions and behaviors.
